Every year, the College of Engineering celebrates
its Engineering Week to showcase the talents of the students through exhibits. Aside
from this, the department helps the graduating students land a job easily through a
seminar on job hunting. High school students are also being invited to compete with
their peers through quiz show. To foster camaraderie and unity among the students, a
sportsfest is also prepared. The culminating activity of this affair is the recognition
night for dean's listers and board passers to honor the academic excellence of students
and graduates.
This year, the Engineering Week will be held on January 24 - 26, 2007. Below is the
schedule of activities:
January 24, 8 AM - Opening of sportsfest
January 25, 8:30 AM - Thanksgiving mass
9:30 AM - Opening of student exhibit
1 PM - 5 PM - Seminar on job hunting
January 26, 8 AM - 12 N - Inter high school quiz show
1 PM - 5 PM - Championship games
5 PM - Recognition night and awarding ceremonies
