History
The graduate school of the CCP was established in 1979 under government recognition No. C-002, dated June 6, 1979, starting with an initial offering of MBA and MAT. As an expression of its social responsibility and in order to keep the poor and deserving ambitious college graduates to seek higher education, CCP opened its Graduate School charging minimal, and affordable costs of tuition to its college faculty and students. Mission The CCP Graduate School commits itself to develop relevant expertise, acumen and competence among the students in the field of Business Administration, Public Management and Teaching not only to attain academic excellence but to prepare them to meet the challenge of global competition. Objectives of the Graduate Programs The Graduate School serves as the academic home of graduate studies in education, business and public management. Primarily it provides the graduate students with opportunities for study and research. The Graduate School as a center for the advancement of learning commits itself to the following goals:
The Academic Programs The different courses in the graduate programs in MBA, MPA and MAT are specifically designed for professionals whose under graduate degree may be in any field of discipline. MBA This program is designed to expose professionals to the basic and applied concepts in business to be more effective as managers and entrepreneurs and productive members of the business community. MBA with-thesis Curriculum MBA non-thesis Curriculum MPA This program is designed to develop the skills to formulate and implement development of plans of government and non-governmental organizations. It emphasizes to develop skills of practicing lower and middle level administrators in managing their respective agencies efficiently and effectively to enable them to appreciate their roles in the general aspect of public management. MPA Curriculum MPA Curriculum - Non Thesis Program MAT This program is designed to equip students with contemporary and relevant skills and techniques necessary to enhance efficient and effective transfer of learning. This program is essentially to prepare education and non-education bachelors degree holders for college teaching in their field of specialization.
