School OrganizationsA. Co-Curricular ActivitiesThe co-curricular activities of the high school aim to enhance the values formation, the cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies of the students in the different areas of learning and programs that involve the community. The co-curricular activities that are held during class days, high school week and Foundation Day include the following: B. Extra Curricular-Activities The CCP High School has always considered extra curricular activities essential to the balanced formation and development of the student. Hence, students are encouraged to join student organizations, with worthwhile objectives. Extra-curricular activities are meant to supplement studies, not to interfere with them. The department reserves the right to limit, exclude or suspend participation in activities if the student needs to devote more time to his studies. General Objectives: The main objective of Extra-curricular activities is to develop leadership abilities, interpersonal relationship, sense of responsibility, cooperation, generosity among the students, personal discipline, and selfless cooperation for the greater good of the community. It also aims to discover the special talents and potentials of the students. C. School Clubs & Organizations and Implementing Objectives STUDENT COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONThe Student Council Organization, the core group of the student body, has been organized to promote and maintain mutual trust and respect among the members of the high school community: between students and teachers, administration and among students themselves.INTERACT CLUBThe Interact Club aims to recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity. It also creates an awareness of the importance of home and family, and it provides opportunities for gaining increased knowledge and understanding of community, national and world affairs.SCIENCE CLUBThe club aims to generate in its members awareness of the current local and global issues and to critically evaluate them according to concept of life, the person and the world. Develops in the students an awareness of significant scientific and technological events that will be of help to them as students.MATH CLUBThis club aims to strengthen academic interest in the field of Math, encourage student responsibility, coordinate high school participation in interschool affairs with regards to the Math area.COMPUTER CLUBIts primary concern is to facilitate the administration of adequate social and academic services with a view of improving the quality of computer education of its members and non-members.ENGLISH CLUBThe English Club is for those who wish to develop their skills in communication arts, especially in the following aspects: reading, speaking, and listening. It also encourages artistic and literary expression and appreciation. It hones critical thinking and research work among its members.HOMEMAKING ARTS CLUBThe Homemaking Arts Club is an organization that aims to develop in its members, a sense of health consciousness and to enhance their capabilities in food selection, preparation, decoration and other home-related activities.SPORTS CLUBThe Sports Club aims to develop strong and sound bodies and acquire sportsmanship, teamwork and spirit of loyalty through interschool and intramural games.SAMAHANG FILIPINOAng Samahang Filipino ay itinatag upang maipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kani-kanilang dunong, gilas at kakayahan sa larangan ng Filipino. Ito ay naglalayon na mapalawak ang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa larangan ng komunikasyon, mahubog ang katauhan ng mga kasapi sa magagandang kaugalian batay sa karanasan nakuha sa samahan at makatulong sa ikauunlad ng paaralan.THE YOUNG HISTORIANS CLUBThe Young Historians Club aims to promote active participation of the members and officers in the appreciation and preservation of Philippine cultural heritage. It also aims to provide bonafide members with the necessary knowledge and skills through programs, seminars and workshops for them to keep abreast with world current events, works of arts, techniques and research on cultural civilization. Likewise, to help students in their career choices in Social Sciences and allied fields.CCP CHORALE CLUBThe CCP Chorale Club aims to develop musical talent of the students, their self confidence through active participation in every activity of the club. This club trains members in choral singing at religious services, school programs and other occasions in the school.INDUSTRIAL ARTS CLUBThe Industrial Arts club aims to develop proper training skills specialization in order to work skills efficiently, to discover student's potential in activities involved in the learning subject area, and to enhance interested students in the application and manifestation of the subject within the school activities.KARATE CLUBThe Karate Club aims to promote the spirit of friendship and sportsmanship and to develop self-discipline, self-confidence and self-defense skills. |
