Mission Statement

The Central Colleges of the Philippines Library System aims to:
  1. provide access to information resources;
  2. collect library materials necessary to support course work, research and service;
  3. preserve it's important collections for future use;
  4. participate in a broad range of cooperative programs to ensure appropriate access to resources;
  5. maintain appropriate physical accommodations for library's resources and services;
  6. educate and assist faculty, students and staff in the identification and effective use of information resources; and
  7. exercise leadership, in cooperation with other campus units, in the management of information and utilization of information technology in the pursuit of academic goals.

Vision Statement

The CCP library sees a future where, keenly attuned to the distinctive needs of the academic community, it becomes an increasingly vital force in the school by exercising leadership in identifying and acquiring information resources essential to CCP's larger mission. Employing professional expertise, interpersonal skills and appropriate technology, it provides uncomplicated and swift access to needed resources and assistance in their use. To achieve this vision, it fosters an organizational setting that is open and involving, empowering and rewarding of talent, energizing and dynamic.
