Architecture

The CCP College of Architecture is accessible to almost everyone, in all walks of life, wanting Architecture as a career.

The Objectives of the College are:

  • To technically train students in Design imbued with a sense of aesthetics, safety, and a deep concern for the accessibility for the handicapped;
  • To provide the students with the architectural knowledge and skills that will enable them to serve society while earning a decent living;
  • To continuously improve the approaches and methodologies in the Architectural Education parallel with the current trends;
  • To produce good, educated, and independent Architects with strong sense of duty and reverence to the country.

 

The Architecture Curriculum follows the recent CHED Memo. Order No 61.

Subject offerings are year-round for the convenience of the students.

The Faculty is composed of good practicing architects & all are active members of the UAP (United Architects of the Philippines).

 

The head of the Institution, Dean ABELARDO E. FIRMEZA is an active member of the:

  • UAP (United Architects of the Philippines)
  • PACUCOA (Philippine Association of Colleges & Universities Commission on Accreditation)  Accreditation Team,
  • CHED RQAT (Commission on Higher Education – Regional Quality Assurance Team) NCR & Region 4
  • CODHASP (Council of Deans & Heads of Architecture Schools in the Philippines),

  • FASIA (Federation of Architecture Schools Involved in Athletics) - Champion in 2008 with 14 schools participating
  • World Architecture Day & Nationwide Architecture Day
  • UAPSA (United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxilliary) activities
  • CCP Intramural Games - Champion in 2008 & 2009
