CCP Nursing students, faculty and administrators during a thanksgiving mass
CCP's first batch of Nursing graduates took their
Licensure Examination last June 2007. The examinees
were prepared and reviewed by the College's Dean Lucia
Simon, with the help of able faculty members. The
fresh graduates achieved an awesome 89% passing
average compared to the national passing average of
48%.
CCP had opened its newest program, Bachelor of Science
in Nursing, in 2004. The College of Nursing is housed
in the new 5-story building situated in the School's
extension campus in Aurora Blvd. located diagonally
across its main campus. The school's base hospital is
the San Juan Medical Center .
The remarkable performance of our nurses, as well as
that of graduates of the school's other programs in
the different licensure examinations is indicative of
the quality of education CCP offers its students. This
shows that the school has consistently lived up to its
philosophy and has continuously worked towards the
achievement of its mission.
Truly, the success of a school is measured by the
achievements of its graduates. Kudos to the new nurses
for a job well done. You have made your school proud.
