Five CCP/SKI members were part of the 27-member Philippine Karate-do Team who participated in the 23rd SEA Games Karate-do events held at Mandaue City last November 27-29, 2005. They were Mae Eco Soriano, Sugar Rey Metante, Ireneo "Bong" Soriano, Rolando Lagman and Dianne Kristine Moral. Of these five, only two saw action during the games. Mae Eco Soriano (BSEd 2005), a 1st Kyu Brown Belt of SKI Phil won the Bronze medal in the -48kg Individual Kumite. Sugar Rey Metante (2nd year AB Psychology student), a 1st Dan JKA Cebu earned a Bronze in the Team Kumite but lost in the -70kg Individual Kumite. Bong, Rolando and Dianne were on the reserve list, with the latter also on the injury list because of an injury she sustained during training.
