Central Colleges of the Philippines

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers- Society of Electrical Engineering Students (IIEE-SEES) CCP Chapter participated in the 19th Regional Quiz Show, with 14 other engineering schools, held during the Regional Student Conference. With the theme "Academic Excellence Gearing Towards Globalization", the conference was held last September 3, 2005 at the Rizal Technological University in Mandaluyong City. Our team won 3rd place while the teams from Mapua, UP Diliman and TIP Manila placed 1st, 2nd and 4th, respectively. Other participating schools were PUP-Manila, UST, TUP, Adamson, UE-Caloocan, RTU, TIP-QC, EARIST, NEU and MLQU.

The top four schools will compete in the National Quiz Show that will be held on the 2nd week of February 2006. Our team, composed of Patrick Gregory B. Jara, Byron John DC Marquez, Romeo A. Marcos, Jr., Alefbher K. Saguid and Abelardo Catalon with Engr. Romano Neyra as their coach/adviser, is now busy preparing for the final showdown.
