The course offering of the College of Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) was granted LEVEL 1 FORMAL ACCREDITATION by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities - Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA) which is valid until April, 2009. This accreditation means that the program offered by the College of Accountancy passed the standards set for the mentioned level including the PASSING PERCENTAGE of the CCP CANDIDATES at the CPA Professional Licensure Examinations versus the NATIONAL PASSING PERCENTAGE.
PERFORMANCE at the CPA BOARD EXAMINATIONS
For the last 14 CPA EXAMINATIONS, covering examinations from October, 2000 to May 2007, the CENTRAL COLLEGES of the PHILIPPINES registered remarkable POSITIVE RESULTS. And in the LAST FOUR (4) CPA EXAMINATIONS, CCP registered results HIGHER THAN the NATIONAL PASSING PERCENTAGE. This performance would easily qualify the BSA PROGRAM to a higher LEVEL of accreditation.
The CCP HIGH-PERFORMANCE at the CPA PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS was cited several times at the PACSB News (the Official Newsletter of the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business). In addition, the CCP PERFORMANCE at the CPA PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS easily lodged the school among the TOP TEN (10) SCHOOLS offering BACHELOR of SCIENCE in ACCOUNTANCY in the CATEGORY of 10 to 20 fielded candidates on every CPA examination.
The CCP HIGH-PERFORMANCE is attributed to the following:
