Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS)


The Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems at Central Colleges ensures that graduates have both the leadership and business know-how to lead, as well as the technology background to be competitive in business. Graduates learn the fundamentals of business information systems and technology, including Programming, Networking, Database Management, It Governance.


General Objective


The College of Computer Science devotes to the primary objective of preparing the students for employment in a computer intensive field or graduate study.

To attain this objective, the College aims to equip the students with the following:


  • training in abstract and analytical processes;

  • personal and social values;

  • appropriate concepts and principles in information technology;

  • basic principles and foundations that underlie the science of this field;

  • practical knowledge of how computer systems are installed, operated, managed, and administered; and

  • conceptualized design and procedures in the development of computer systems.


Associate in Computer Technology major in Networking


Pursue your vision of a promising career with the 2-year Associate in Computer Technology major in
Networking program. Understand and apply the principles in information technology infrastructure that
provides computing solutions. ACT major in Networking program prepares the students for eventual entry into
the regular degree of BS in Information Technology.

Associate in Computer Technology major in Application Development


Prepare for a promising career with the 2-year Associate in Computer Technology major in Application
Development program. Learn the fundamental skills in computer programming, database management, software
design and development, and new developments in computing. ACT major in Application Development
program prepares the students for eventual entry into the regular degree of BS in Computer Science.

QUESTION: Kailan po pwedeng mag-enroll ng ACT program?
ANSWER: ACT programs will open on the first semester 2021.

QUESTION: Holder po ako ng TESDA certificate. Kung magPursue po ako ng ACT program, makeCredit
po ba ang mga subjects na nakuha ko sa TESDA?
ANSWER: Subjects taken from other schools are subject for evaluation based on its number of hours and
credit units.

QUESTION: Transfer student po ako. Based on the evaluation, most of the subjects that I’ve taken are
credited. Can get my ACT diploma within a year since I can finish the remaining ACT courses (subjects)
within two semesters?
ANSWER: No. Based on our School policy, all transfer students are required to have one-year school
residency. The least number of years of stay in 3 semesters.

QUESTION: I am currently enrolled in BSIT program. Is it okay if I shift to ACT?
ANSWER: All ACT courses (subjects) are included in the BSCS/BSIT program. All students who are
currently enrolled in BSCS/BSIT are encouraged to continue with the program. Moreover, ACT diplomas
will be issued to them once they have finished all the ACT courses (subjects).

QUESTION: MakeCredit po ba ang lahat ng ACT subjects ko pag magPursue ako ng BSCS/BSIT?
ANSWER: Yes. The ACT programs are designed to prepare students for eventual entry into the regular
degree of BSCS/BSIT.

QUESTION: What is the differentiator of CCP’s ACT programs?
ANSWER: The professors are industry practitioners. Networking courses are delivered through the CISCO
Networking Academy.
